The Utopia Foundation finds the poorest people it can, and gives them a monthly payment of Rs. 2000 (25$) per month for a period of 20 years – no questions asked.

Our dream is to be able to do it for every single family on earth. For now, our attempt is to find the poorest people we can, so that we make the most impact. As of today, we are searching for people who meet all of the following criteria:

• Women over 18
• Currently or recently involved in manual scavenging (Where the traditional practice is to pay for services with stale food)
• No other source of income
